testing the 2nd-Generation general public facilitation training, here is what we recommend to green belts and blue belts:

  1. Lead at least one 2nd-Generation workshop and feel comfortable leading it.

  2. Read the [BETA-TEST] 2nd-Generation new trainer's handbook to understand the objectives of the 2nd-Generation facilitation training, which focuses on having future facilitators lead parts of the workshop directly.

  3. Review the [BETA-TEST] 2nd-Generation facilitation training pedagogical flow for the general public (3h)to understand the educational objectives of the different sequences of the 2nd generation facilitation training for the general public and the reasons behind the changes compared to 1st-Generation workshops.

Once you have completed these three steps, you are ready to BETA-TEST 2nd-Generation facilitation training sessions! 🚀

Once you have BETA-tested at least one 2nd-Generation General Public Facilitator Training, feel free to share your suggestions for improvement, ideally before the end of March 2025. We will review all feedback to offer an improved version of the 2nd-Generation resources to all facilitators in June 2025. Thank you! 😊

Why organise 2nd-Generation facilitator training sessions while the workshop is still in BETA-TEST?

We acknowledge that the 2nd-Generation workshop and its resources are still in the BETA-TEST phase and will evolve. However, we believe it is essential to train less experienced facilitators so that you, as a green or blue belt, can observe how they adopt this new version. This will allow you to identify insights and share suggestions for improvement with us.

In June 2025, we will take the time to clearly explain the evolutions between the BETA-TEST version and the final version. We will also offer informational and upskilling webinars for all Freskers.

How to organise a 2nd-Generation facilitation training session?

To participate in the 2nd-Generation General Public facilitation training, one must first have attended a 2nd-Generation workshop.

Remarque

When creating your BETA-TEST training session from your Facilitator Space, select the “[BETA-TEST] 2nd-Generation” option. This ensures that participants receive the link to the 2nd-Generation MOOC.

We recommend that you clearly specify in the training description that it is a 2nd-Generation training and that attending a 2nd-Generation workshop beforehand is mandatory.

After their training, participants will receive an automatic email specifying that they have participated in a 2nd-Generation facilitation training in BETA-TEST and that they can access the associated resources.

We recommend informing participants at the beginning of the training that they are being trained on the 2nd-Generation workshop, which is currently in its BETA-TEST phase, and that it will be updated in June 2025.

Feel free to share the link to your training in discussion loops so that other interested facilitators can sign up! 😊
