Local groups allow Frescoureuses from the same territory to come together and recognize each other. It is through these groups that referrers can share the most important announcements.

What do you want to do?

Create a local group

It is the association which creates the local groups, which are administered by the referents.

  • In France, there is one local group per department.

  • In the world, there is one local group per country.

We will evolve this functionality according to the needs encountered and your development requests.

Join one or more local groups

As a Fresker, you can join one or more groups. You can access all groups from the Community tab > Local groups > Search.

  1. Enter your city

  1. Click on a city from the list

  1. Click on the magnifying glass to search

The list will display the groups in order of distance from the location you have indicated.

Subscribe/unsubscribe from announcement emails

Local groups contain an announcement feature: referrers can post announcements to the entire group. They are archived on the group page.

By default, you will receive an email notification each time an announcement is posted on the groups of which you are a member.

To no longer receive email notifications, uncheck the “Receive announcements by email” box as below:

Identify group members

You must be a member of the group to see its other members, from the “Members” tab.

Current developments

  • You can identify them by belt level, city or whether they are Pro from the filtering, like in the directory.

  • You can also sort them by date of animation training (= seniority in the community) or date of arrival in the group (= seniority in the group).

Manage a local group (referrers only)

As a group leader, you can:

Edit title and description

ex :
Welcome to the Manche group!

🍻 We meet every first Wednesday of the month for an aperitif at the Rafale bar, in Granville
🗓 Next aperitif on Wednesday November 1st

Discussions and groups

💬 Telegram loop of the Frescoureuses de la Manche

💬 Whatsapp loop of the Frescoureuses de Granville

👥 Facebook group of Frescoureuses de la Manche

Change location

For local groups of departments, choose the prefecture as the city.

For local country groups, do not indicate a city. The country group will appear at the top of search results if it is the country of the city

Name other referents

You can name other referees for the group from the edit panel.

The referees you name will have the same rights as you: they will be able to modify the group and post announcements.

Post ads

You can publish communications in a thread which will remain visible to everyone, in the “Announcements” tab.

Some members of the group will have activated the option to receive a notification for each new publication, which implies:

  • Avoid posting new publications too frequently at the risk of losing visibility and membership from your community

  • To take care of the form and tone of these communications (especially those which do not come from you): they will become the showcase of your local group and its activity!
