Creating your account
Create an account to start translating and reviewing translations.
To access Tolgee, you must have been invited by email.
Click on the link, you should arrive on a login page. Click on Sign up to create your account.
Create your account with the email the invitation link had been sent to.
You should arrive on your Tolgee dashboard. You can see the projects you have been invited in.
Find your language
From the dashboard you can find your language. You can use CTRL+F to search your language. Click on it and it will open the translation frame.
Translate
Click on your project from your projects dashboard. You can then click on the translation icon, on the left side bar. You can choose the language you want to see with the dropdown menu.
You can edit directly with clicking on the text, then Save with the Save button.
You can translate in the language you have been authorized to in your account. If you realize you cannot click and edit, please contact the NGO so that your rights can be updated.
If necessary, you can use the comments section to leave comments.
Review
Once you have updated a translation, you can update the state of this translation to “reviewed” to inform that the translation is now correct.
Click on the check button to indicate you have translated and/or reviewed the lign. You can aso use the shortcut
CTRL+E
If you do not see the check button on your interface, it means the right to review is not activated on your account. Contact the NGO to update it if you need.
Tips : You can tick several lines and use
the bottom menu to do one action on multiple lines silmutaneously
See the comments & history of translations
On each line you can use the “History” tab to see what actions had been done on the line.
You can also use the Comments tabs to discuss with your peers.
