The aim of the course is to facilitate progress of the entire community by proposing essential steps and facilitating the exchange of good practices between facilitators of different levels.

Each belt corresponds to rules to access the upper level and its benefits.

Your progression is automatic up to the orange belt, throughout the workshops and training that you run. Beyond that, you will need higher level belt validations to pass the stage.

⚪ White Belt

Welcome to the journey!

You have just been trained in animation, you are automatically a White Belt.

🟡 Towards the Yellow belt

Once you are trained in animation, you have all the bases to get started. You can co-host or lead a workshop, you will automatically become a yellow belt!

Additionally, if you want to feel more comfortable and familiarize yourself with the community, you can follow the tips below.

Join the community

• Join Telegram chat loops that interest you but above all the Information loop of the permanent team of Climate Fresk

• Make yourself known to your local coordinator

• Respect the user license

Animate! It’s by frescoing that you become a fresco artist 😉

Host a workshop organized by yourself, with your friends, your family, your colleagues, or with the NGO in pairs with another facilitator, by registering for a opportunity !

🟠 Towards the Orange belt

You will automatically pass the orange belt when you have facilitate or co-facilitate 10 workshops.

With experience, you will improve quickly! You can also follow these tips to deepen your knowledge and bring the project to life.

Strengthen your climate culture

Vary your animations

• Co-facilitate workshops with White Belt facilitators.

• Run several tables in parallel (start with 2, then 3!)

• Animate a Junior Fresk (preparing with the MOOC Junior)

Bringing the community to life

• Join the NGO

• Update your LinkedIn profile and mention that you are a presenter of the Climate Fresk

🟢 Towards the Green Belt

Here, the route gets a little tougher… Normal! By becoming a green belt, you will be able to train new white belts, but also apply for paid leadership opportunities in organizations.

In the following order, you will carry out these 4 missions. If you fail one of the assessments, nothing serious, you can listen to the advice we give you, then try again later with someone else. 

At the same time, you can deepen your knowledge by browsing the resources indicated in “Strengthening your climate culture”.

1. Facilitate 15 workshops

Everything is in the title ! This step will be automatically validated as soon as your meter reaches this threshold.

2. Lead a workshop while being observed by a green belt

• Identify a green belt available to observe you during a workshop. You can directly ask a belt you know or use the directory

• On the big day, you lead the workshop

• The green belt validates or refuses the evaluation from the platform

3. Follow an interview with a green belt

• Identify a green belt available to conduct this interview of approximately 1 hour. You can directly ask a green belt you know, use the directory or this file

• Complete your self assessement to prepare you for the green belt questions

• The green belt validates or refuses the evaluation from the platform

4. Participate in training as an observer. Participate in the training support briefing.

• Observe animation training, to refresh your memory on the training process

• Participate in a briefing on training support in order to familiarize yourself with the tools of the green belt

5. Conduct initial animation training while being observed by a blue belt

• Identify a blue belt available to observe you. You can directly ask a blue belt you know or use the directory or even use this file.

• On the big day, you lead the animation training

• The blue belt validates or refuses the evaluation from the platform

🔵 Towards the Blue belt

You have already come a long way and you are now at a highly strategic level, because it is partly the mobilization of green belts on which our ability to grow the community of facilitators depends!

In the following order, you will carry out these 4 missions.

1. Conduct 20 animation training courses

All contexts combined, and we invite you to vary the formats (classic or post-MOOC by following the NGO's support).

2. Attend an interview with a blue belt

• Identify a blue belt available to conduct this interview of approximately 1 hour. You can directly ask a blue belt you know or use the directory or even use this file.

• The blue belt validates or refuses the evaluation from the platform

3. Attend an interview with a blue belt

• Identify a blue belt available to conduct this interview of approximately 1 hour. You can directly ask a blue belt you know or use the directory or even use this file.

• The blue belt validates or refuses the evaluation from the platform

4. Co-supervise a first training session, in pairs with a blue belt

• Identify a blue belt available to evaluate training with you from a green belt (see step 4 of the transition from green to blue). You can directly ask a blue belt you know or use the directory or even use this file.

• On the big day, you observe and evaluate the training
