Differences between professional facilitation training and public training

Who is it intended for? | These facilitation training sessions are open to the general public and are run by Climate Fresk volunteers. Once you’ve completed this training, you’ll be able to facilitate workshops for your friends, family, neighbours…You will join the facilitator community and will be able to take part in a number of different events organised by the NGO. | Participants in a Climate Fresk facilitator training are employees or self-employed people who wish to learn how to run Climate Fresk workshop in a professional context (on a paid basis) for their colleagues, collaborators or customers. |
Training content | The training lasts 3 hours of which 45 minutes for a presentation of the association and the project, 75 minutes for a reconstruction of the fresk in time-lapse and 60 minutes for the presentation of the fresker’s journey. | The facilitation training lasts 7 hours. In addition to the parts covered in the volunteer training in a more detailed format, the course includes 3 hours to go into the debriefing phase in greater depth, so that each new facilitator can adapt it. |
Quality | These training sessions are run by volunteers from the NGO, and are part of a civic framework. The quality of the presentation may therefore vary according to the volunteer's experience. | These training sessions are run by accredited facilitators who are experts in climate transformation and collective intelligence methods for businesses, having the highest level in what is called “the fresker’s journey”. |
