(étoile bleue) The association receives incoming requests every day, from of diverse and varied organizations. Some of these requests are handled live by the association, others are sent directly to the fresco artists.

How does the association’s incoming demand management system work?

📃 Subcontracting

When the association processes an opportunity directly, we call it “Subcontracting” (“Subcontracting” in English).

This concerns all requests in France and at the margin, some opportunities outside France (mainly for French organizations which have already organized workshops and which have international branches).

In this context, it is the permanent team of the association and more precisely, the relationship managers of the OP team who handle these requests. The managers take care of the business relationship with prospects (exchanges, definition of needs, terms, etc.) and transmit commercial proposals (estimate). THE offers and prices proposed are therefore defined by the association.

If the offer is accepted by the customer, the association makes the opportunity visible to the community of professional facilitators by posting it on the facilitator space, “Pro” tab, “Current opportunities” section. The professional animators can then apply to coordinate the opportunity. Once put in contact with the client, they are responsible for setting up a team of facilitators if necessary, putting together a personalized debrief, ensuring logistical aspects, carrying out the service, etc. (see this article on the responsibility of the coordinator And this one on team building in subcontracting)

At the end of the opportunity, the association regains control of the game billing And retribution of the facilitators and the coordinating person (in particular via the self-billing).

We speak of “Subcontracting” in this case because the facilitators are mandated by the association to carry out the services. They are stakeholders, but the contractualization is done well between the association and the organization.

In this context, the facilitators do not have to pay any usage rights to the association!
The association keeps the commercial link for 12 months.

🤝 Business contribution

When the association receives incoming requests and sends them directly to professional facilitators, without having previously entered into a contract with these prospects, we speak of “Business contribution” (“Customer introduction” in English).

The Business Contribution concerns the almost all incoming international requests. As the association has limited knowledge of international training markets, it is difficult to formalize offers and associated prices. This is why most international opportunities are handled in Business Contribution.

In this context, incoming requests from organizations are sent directly to the professional community via the facilitator area, “Pro” tab, “Current Opportunities” section. The association did not have prior contact with the prospect; It is up to the selected coordinator to manage the commercial relationship with the client and to enter into contracts with them.

This is the main difference with Subcontracting.

In this context, facilitators must declare their rights of use. More informations here !

To find out if an opportunity is managed by subcontracting or business contribution, simply look at the “Group” column of the “Coordination Opportunities” tables (facilitator area, “Pro” tab).
